From his first job at 17 as a driver at ACE Auto Parts, Tim’s career in the automotive world has been driven by learning, integrity, and service.

A pivotal turning point came just months into that first job. During a routine parts run, Tim met a store manager at Tire Kingdom who drove a particularly nice car. Curious, Tim asked, “How did you get into this position?” The manager pointed to the service bay and simply said, “I started doing that.” It was the spark Tim needed.

Motivated, Tim joined the general service team, quickly rose through the ranks to assistant manager, and later took on the role of store manager at Tires Plus Total Car Care.

From there, his journey accelerated — becoming Director of Operations for Kauffman Tire, overseeing Florida’s west coast and central regions. In June 2005, Tim launched his own business, Adams Tire & Auto, and kept it running strong through the 2008 financial crisis until 2013. Then, he took on a turnaround leadership role at Tuffy Auto Service in Wesley Chapel.

Tim was offered a unique opportunity to buy out the Tuffy franchise through sweat equity — managing and rebuilding the store’s operations to earn ownership. However, just before finalizing, Mavis Tire and Brakes acquired the Tuffy Corporation in early 2022, blocking Tim’s purchase. Even after the transition, Tim continued leading the store, focusing on honest service and building a trusted team.

Now, with the launch of Adams Concierge Auto Service, Tim brings his decades of hands-on experience, operational leadership, and people-first philosophy to serve the community he’s built his life around. No upsells. No gimmicks. Just expert care you can trust.
